As I mentioned in last week’s email I recently realized that my consistent need for a reset is actually me just needing to have my own change of seasons. For as long as I’ve had my business, I’ve consistently had the theme of resetting show up in some shape or form semi-regularly in my “update” newsletters. I never fully realized or embraced the need for a reset with intention – which made resetting feel more like an adaptation or survival technique than something to look forward to and fully-embrace as part of my natural rhythm. Now that I’ve acknowledged this pattern, I can allow myself to fully embrace and plan for these changes of seasons. To really use the motivation that naturally occurs to make changes to my priorities, schedule, focus, and mindset without the guilt. What does this look like? Well right now, it’s allowing myself to craft my “back-to-school” schedule. As a child, I loved preparing to go back to school, getting all my school supplies organized, notebooks color coded, and writing out my class schedule. Plus the energy of Virgo season is the perfect time to examine routines and schedule, and how things in our lives are organized and structured. So, why not tap into that energy? And have a little fun with it! I’ve chosen my core subjects: Visibility | YOU(niverse) content | Core marketing messaging plus two electives: Writing | Sewing. I’ve made myself a curriculum of sorts for each of my Fall “courses”. Basically a list of tasks and expectations for each of my “courses” that I will use to guide my work from September through November. And I’ve set up a weekly form to submit for myself that documents what I’ve accomplished that week. I’ve mostly been running my days on a task-based structure – which worked for trying to get all the pieces to launch the membership but now it’s harder to decide what tasks to focus on so this provides me a fun little way to provide myself more direction and focus. And while the “back-to-school” motivation and energy is definitely one of my natural transition points (aka personal seasons) , leaning into the theme with this structure is a new experiment – so we will see how it plays out. Read about my other “seasons” in this blog post. |
I help women solopreneurs take self-knowledge from just being interesting to being operational. This isn’t about fixing, maxing, or hacking anything – this is about understanding your priorities, exploring how you operate on a foundational level, and applying that to how you actually run your business and manage your life.
Leaning into this month's witchy theme - let's talk Tarot cards! While you might not associate Tarot cards as a tool to use in your business. I actually find pulling out my deck can be quite helpful to help me get unstuck and out of my head in several different areas of my business. One way that I've been playing around with Tarot lately is using it to help with my content creation - pulling out the deck is a fun way to help inspire me when I feel uninspired with what to post or if I'm...
One thing I love about Human Design and Astrology is that it gives me permission to embrace things that I recognize about myself but have often fought against or thought I need to fix. Instead of saying, how can I fix this tendency, I can shift to how I can embrace and work with this part of me. Last month, I decided to tackle the Garbage Post challenge – and the core of the challenge is to post 100 posts in 30 days. Now I’ve tried this challenge a few times prior, years ago, but never got...
The BHG Dispatch – October 2026 🎃 Monthly updates from the Bloom Hustle Grow orbit. I hope September was a good month in your corner of the world. I'm reviving this formatting for the monthly update newsletter! M’s field notes Ok, guys — my little Fall Curriculum experiment has worked so well for my focus and productivity. I'm shocked (shocked!) how breaking down my focus in this way helped me so much. I also feel like this month I've settled into a good exercise routine 💪. I'm excited to...
