One thing I love about Human Design and Astrology is that it gives me permission to embrace things that I recognize about myself but have often fought against or thought I need to fix. Instead of saying, how can I fix this tendency, I can shift to how I can embrace and work with this part of me. Last month, I decided to tackle the Garbage Post challenge – and the core of the challenge is to post 100 posts in 30 days. Now I’ve tried this challenge a few times prior, years ago, but never got too far with it. And a big part of that is when I started seeing how behind – instead of seeing it through the lens of “ugh, why can’t I do this” I saw it through the lens of “oh, this makes sense, I need to build up to 100 posts”. I’m a Human Design Generator and Taurus – Sun, Moon, and Mercury and it rules my 6th house, which represents routines. A core part of how Generators and Taurus operate is to move slower, to build things, to not be rushed, to keep going. So, it makes sense that when building a new routine that I’m not going to just start from 0 to 100 😉 So as soon as I made that connection, I committed to doing a second round starting later this month. It’s still correct for me to commit to the full challenge or make a larger routine goal– because that gives me a direction, a target but it’s important for me to acknowledge I'm more designed to work my way there at a slower progress rate than diving all the way in. Having this self-knowledge allowed me in the instance of the challenge to reframe and realign - instead of giving up and with my new exercise routine, to choose the structure that felt supportive instead of stressful. This is just a small example of how I use the clues gained through these tools to help me better align how I move through my life and business. I help women solopreneurs take self-knowledge from just being interesting to being operational. This isn’t about fixing, maxing, or hacking anything – this is about understanding your priorities, exploring how you operate on a foundational level, and applying that to how you actually run your business and manage your life.
Leaning into this month's witchy theme - let's talk Tarot cards! While you might not associate Tarot cards as a tool to use in your business. I actually find pulling out my deck can be quite helpful to help me get unstuck and out of my head in several different areas of my business. One way that I've been playing around with Tarot lately is using it to help with my content creation - pulling out the deck is a fun way to help inspire me when I feel uninspired with what to post or if I'm...
